The Triumphant Mysteries

opening  Prayers

Now that our hearts have been prepared, we join together with those who have been assembled. In this prayer, we pray in community. We believe that our request for unity has been granted.

Opening Prayers

We begin the Rosary, with the traditional opening prayers, with the addition of St. Michael.

Sign of the Cross.

(Considering the mystery of the Trinity).

Apostle’s Creed.

(Praying especially with St. Peter).

Our Father.

(Praying especially with St. Philip Neri).

Hail Mary.

(Praying especially with St. Mary Magdalene).

Hail Mary.

(Praying especially with St. Catherine of Siena).

Hail Mary.

(Praying especially with St. Margaret Mary).

Glory Be.

(Praying especially with St. Augustine).

O, MY JESUS, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell, lead all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need of thy mercy. (Praying especially with St. Thérèse of Lisieux).

SAINT MICHAEL, the ARCHANGEL,

defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.

(This is added after each “O, my Jesus…” prayer as the Rosary is said, praying especially with St. Josemaría Escrivá).

Assembly of the Just

Now that our hearts have been prepared, we join together with those who have been assembled. In this prayer, we pray in community. We believe that the request for unity that is contained in our previous prayer has been granted. So it is with faith in that Communion that we say:

I CALL UPON ALL SAINTS, all those venerated in public in the canon of the Church; all known in secret to God alone; all martyrs, poets, prophets, and kings; all writers, teachers, philosophers, scientists, priests, and religious; all from Europe, from Asia, from the Americas, from Africa, from Oceania, and beyond: I ASK YOU TO INTERCEDE.

I CALL UPON ALL SOLIDERS, sailors, airmen, and marines; all police, firemen, and first responders; all who have ever taken up arms for a worthy cause; all who have worn the uniform of their country; all who have put service above self; all who have defended their homes and families; all who have fought for liberty, human rights, and freedom: I ASK YOU TO STAND GUARD AND PROTECT ALL THOSE WHO PRAY.

I CALL UPON ALL DOCTORS, nurses, health care workers, and those who support them; all who have ever listened to the problems of a patient; all who have made a diagnosis of illness; all who have put science above superstition; all who have healed people and families; all who have protect human life in all its forms: I ASK YOU TO HEAL AND HELP THOSE IN NEED.

I CALL UPON THE GENERATIONS of my own family, my ancestors who are known to me; my ancestors unknown in the mists of history; my first parents, Adam and Eve; my siblings and cousins; my children, past and future; and all of my descendants from their birth through eternity: I ASK YOU TO JOIN US IN PRAYER.
